Hello, my name is Devi and I am the founder of RentyTent Rentals! I’m a passionate festival goer, waste reduction enthusiast, and entrepreneur! Every year I go to camping festivals, I notice an insane amount of perfectly good camping gear being abandoned because people don’t have the space to fly back with it and you’re unable to return it- I’ve been guilty of it too! This gear inevitably ends up in a land fill somewhere or is donated but is not being recycled within the festival community, so the one-time-camping-use waste continues! I always leave these festivals thinking, there’s got to be a better way! My dream is to salvage this abandoned camping gear at music festivals, work with existing waste management companies to donate some of the gear to charity, then use a percentage of the gear to rent back to the festival community at extremely discounted prices! What this will accomplish is: saving millions of dollars worth of camping gear ending up in more landfills, creating consistent donation opportunities for charities, and designing convenience, accessibility, and affordability for the festival community.
